Hold Out For that Natural Rug You Want
"I got this natural rug and am so happy with it!"
Is it hard to find a natural rug these days? It should not be. I know for a fact that brand name manufacturers like Dayln, Courtisan, Capel, and Momeni still make them. And Nourison, Kaleen, and Home Dynamix all made them at one point. So what makes these types natural? More importantly, does this mean that all other types are unnatural? That’s certainly not the case. Basically, it’s a combination of how they are made along with the materials that are used to put them together. So for example, if you were to get a zebra or floral patterned matt that is made with bright colors and you’re not exactly sure what the material is, then you wouldn’t be looking at a natural one, would you?
So being handmade is an important component. They need to be woven, whether it’s in a sisal, seagrass, or jute style. Also, because of what our society currently favors, their plain, minimal look will appear to be contemporary and modern. Because of this, you wouldn’t expect to find these in an old room full of antiques. Rather, these are perfect for the young married couple.
Even though they’re not manufactured the same, they can still come in the rectangular square shapes, or be round an oval. They can even be custom made, though, as you might expect, this is definitely not the cheap option. Are you thinking about putting one in a kid’s room? I personally wouldn’t, as a kid would not appreciate the work and effort that went into the making of the carpet. Also, you’ll find that children usually like the flashy types with patterns or even their favorite cartoon characters.
Last, remember that you can get a large or small naturally made rug, and they are available in any solid color you would want. However, sometimes you might have to keep searching until you find just the right one.
